'HUNT the Shunt' epitomised the glamorous lifestyle many associate with Formula One. During his racing career he was associated with a bevy of beauties and wore a badge on his overalls which read: ‘Sex – Breakfast of Champions.'

In 1978, Hunt heroically dragged Ronnie Peterson from a burning car at Monza but his friend later died of his injuries. Disheartened, Hunt retired in 1979 and never raced again.
